CASS Undergraduate Student Exchange Travel Grant

Applications for Winter 2023, Semester 2, 2023 exchange are now open, and close Friday, 12 May 2023

The objective of the award is to assist undergraduate students to go on semester long exchanges to institutions that the College of Arts and Social Sciences has ties with. This is an academic award and is selection will be based on the selection of host university, academic achievement (GPA based), and reasons for applying (in that order).

Travel grants are worth up to $5000 and funding for this award has been provided by the College. 

Who can apply?

In order to be considered for a CASS Undergraduate Exchange Travel Grant, students must

  1. be enrolled in an undergraduate program in the College of Arts and Social Sciences
  2. be undertaking an approved exchange program

Preference will be given to students going to the following institutions: 

  • Nanyang Technical University
  • Humboldt University, Berlin
  • Kings College, London
  • Indiana University

Selection is made on the basis of academic merit. Other factors such as the relevance of the host institution to the study program and motivations for undertaking the exchange, will be taken into account.
