But film buffs and historians alike have criticised the highly anticipated sequel to Ridley Scott’s Gladiator, calling out the movie’s anachronisms. 

The story follows Lucius (the internet’s favourite boyfriend, Paul Mescal), who is forced to enter the Colosseum after his kingdom, Numidia, is conquered by Rome’s emperors.

Screen Studies

Students who commenced their studies in the Bachelor of Arts in 2024 or before can still complete a major or minor in screen studies as part of their program. If you are intending to do this, we strongly encourage you to select your major/minor in ANUHub now. This will help the CASS Student Office identify you and provide timely support as needed.

Indian and South Asian Studies

This major has been replaced with the South Asian Studies Major (SASS-MAJ) from 2025. As many courses are listed in both majors, students may choose to complete either the Indian and South Asian Studies or the South Asian Studies Major.
