At the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS), we offer expertise in Ancient Greek, Arabic, Australian Indigenous Languages, French, German, Italian, Latin, Persian, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish, and we collaborate closely with scholars across the university with expertise in Asian and Pacific languages, as well as researchers across Australia and overseas.
Research supervision is available in a wide range of areas spanning literature and culture, linguistics, and interdisciplinary studies, including work across diverse temporal and geographic contexts. Supervision is available in a range of interdisciplinary fields, including gender and queer studies, critical race studies and post-/decolonialism, disinformation, philosophy, museum studies, migration and diaspora studies, and deaf and disability studies. CASS also offers expertise in linguistics, including second language acquisition and teaching, language policy, and Romance linguistics.
