New staff induction

CASS HR conducts group inductions for all new starters to the College of Arts and Social Sciences. The short presentation will include:

  • An overview of the College structure and governance;
  • Introduction to key policies and procedures;
  • Overview of payroll, remunerations and benefits;
  • Brief coverage of WHS and OSLO;
  • Tour of Beryl Rawson Building

Registrations to attend can made via email at hr.cass@anu.edu.au or by phoning ext. 50700. 

The CASS HR induction is designed to complement the ANU New Staff Welcome which is delivered by Central HR and runs approximately monthly. Staff can book on to this through the ANU Training calendar which is available through this link: https://services.anu.edu.au/human-resources/supporting-development/new-staff-welcome

Alternatively, you will be able to access the ANU New Staff Orientation modules online. This five module, on-line program is designed to provide you with important information to help you navigate and understand the university. We encourage you to complete the modules before or shortly after your commence to assist you to gain knowledge and to welcome you to the Australian National University.
