Three CASS Alumna named Finalists for National Women’s Art Prize

Three CASS alumna have been named Professional Finalists in the 2024 Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize.
Congratulations to Emma Beer (BVisual Arts (Hons)) ’09 and School of Art & Design, Technical Services Team Coordinator), Clare Thackway (BVisual Arts ’06) and Kelly Austin (MPhil ’16).
The annual prize, and highest value professional artist prize for women in Australia, was launched by the Ravenswood School For Girls in 2017 to advance emerging and established female artists.
This year 117 finalists were announced from over 1600 entries, with judges noting “the collection is filled with wonderful, varied, exciting, and aesthetically beautiful works, promising a truly stunning exhibition.”

The exhibition will open on 10 May 2024 and run between 11-26 May 2024 at the Ravenswood School For Girls in Gordon.
