Language policy and language education in Australian schooling

Professor Anthony J. Liddicoat from the University of South Australia is presenting ‘‘Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose…Language policy and language education in Australian schooling”.

Liddicoat is a Professor in Applied Linguistics at the Research Centre for Languages and Cultures in the School of Communication, International Studies and Languages at the University of South Australia. He is a former president of the Australian Federation of Modern language Teachers Associations and currently President Elect of the Applied Linguistics Association of Australia.

His presentation is part of the Linguistics, Languages & Cultures Seminar Series. It will be held on Friday 23 April, 3-5pm, McDonald seminar room, Menzies Library followed by drinks. This event is free and open to the public.
