Howard Morphy on anthropology, art and cultural value

Museum artifacts can be more than visible history – they can also be a rich resource for future dialogues and for changing understandings in the present.

Howard Morphy, Distinguished Professor in the School of Archaeology and Anthropology at ANU, was recently interviewed by Ian Newton on Radio Adelaide Breakfast.

The interview followed Howard's presentation of the Ruth & Vincent Megaw Lecture in Archaeology & Art at Flinders University on June 16.

In the interview, Howard reflects on his career in anthropology, Indigenous art and material culture, and changing cultural values.
