Four CASS students to be part of the Aurora Project

Four students from the College have been selected to undertake internships as part of the prestigious Aurora Native Title Internship Program.
The internship program, part of the Aurora Project, was established to provide professional development opportunities for those working in Native Title Representative Bodies. The project has since grown to also include projects more broadly in the fields of indigenous education and indigenous affairs.
Students can undertake internships with Native Title Representative Bodies, Indigenous corporations, government bodies, community groups, not for profit organisations and other organisations working in policy development, social justice and indigenous affairs.
Internships are available as part of legal, anthropology and social sciences streams, with the following CASS students receiving placements as part of the anthropology stream:
• Laura Parsons
• Maiko Yoshimoto
• Laura Rademaer
• Sarah Wardell
The Aurora Project is funded by government and corporate bodies and works closely with a number of partner organisations and trusts.
