Dr Katrina Lee-Koo recognised for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning

The School of Politics and International Relations' Dr Katrina Lee-Koo joins six other ANU staff awarded 2010 Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.
Dr Lee-Koo received the award for developing and empowering students as independent and responsible agents for change in the global politics of security.
The Australian Learning and Teaching Council is dedicated to improving the student learning experience by supporting quality teaching and practice.
Citations, valued at $10,000 each, are awarded to both academic and professional staff, who have demonstrated sustained dedication to improving the quality of the student learning experience. This year citations were awarded in areas ranging from the first year experience, to advances in online and multimedia teaching and capacity building for marginalised learners. The $10,000 awards are to be used for educational development.
