CASS academic staff appointed to key ACT Education Panels

ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences’ Dean of Education, Professor Joan Beaumont, has been appointed to the ACT Board of Secondary School Studies as the ANU representative joining other key educational institutions and groups across the territory.

In another appointment for CASS academic staff, ANU Drama lecturer, Cathie Clelland, will serve on the drama accreditation panel for the ACT Board of Studies for 2010.

The ACT Board of Secondary Studies primary roles are to provide oversight to the establishment and assessment guidelines to educational institutions and to advise the Minister on any matters of relevance in the sector.
