ANU number one in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

ANU has again been named Australia's top University for Arts, Humanitites, and Social Sciences.  The ranking, given by the QS Top Universities guide, also placed ANU 17 places ahead of the next Australian University in the overall rankings. 

In Arts and Humanities ANU ranked 17th while the University of Sydney was 19th and University of Melbourne was 21st. 

In the field of Social Sciences, ANU ranked 13th, far ahead of the next best Australian University (University of Sydney) in 30th place. 

The College of Arts and Social Sciences offers students a wide range of study options at Postgraduate (coursework), and Research levels and these rankings are a reflection of the quality of teaching that is prevalent in the College.
