26-28 November - AAANZ conference (Art Association of Australia and New Zealand)
The annual AAANZ conference for 2009 will be hosted by The Australian National University. The conference will be held in Canberra on the evening of 26 November and two full days on 27 and 28 November. The conference organisers are:

CALLING FOR SESSION CONVENORS
The conference organisers are calling for session convenors now. The 2009 conference has an open theme and the organisers are encouraging conference sessions in a broad range of areas.
CLOSING DATE - 30 April 2009
If you are interested in covening a conference session please email Elisabeth.Findlay@anu.edu.au with the following details:
- TITLE, provide a brief title for the proposed session
- DESCRIPTION, a brief paragraph describing your session and its major themes
- CONTACT DETAILS, please provide an email address to send abstracts to (if you intend to co-convene a session please provide details of both convenors)
Once the conference sessions have been finalised, there will be a call for papers. Conference convenors are expected to select the papers from the abstracts provided. The convenors will co-ordinate the sequence of papers. On the day of the conference the convenors will chair and take responsibility for the sessions.
The successful convenors will be notified by mid-May.
