2017 Council for the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences Australia Prizes

The Council for the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences(CHASS) is inviting nominations for its 2017 Australia Prizes. The CHASS Australia Prizes honour distinguished achievements by Australians working, studying or training in the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS).
Nominations close 5pm AEST on 30 June 2017
CHASS Australia Prize for a book
(Cash Prize of $3,500)
This prize is for a non-fiction book that contributes most to Australian culture and intellectual life.
CHASS Australia Prize for a Distinctive Work
(Cash Prize of $3,500)
This prize is for a performance, exhibition , project or specific advancement in policy development in any HASS field.
CHASS Australia Prize for a Future Leader
(Cash Prize of $2,000)
his prize is awarded for a future leader in any aspect of the Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences.
Nominees must not not have reached 30 years of age before 31 December 2016.
CHASS Australia Prize for a Student
(Co-op voucher worth $500)
This Prize is for a student project, performance or exhibition that best exemplifies the contribution of HASS areas to our understanding of ourselves and our nation.
