2011/2012 HRC Internal Fellowships - call for applications

The Humanities Research Centre at RSHA is inviting applications for two fellowships of $15000 each.

  • These will be offered to teaching staff in any of the humanities disciplines in CASS. The grant is to be used as teaching relief for a semester – either Semester 2 in 2011 or Semester 1 in 2012 - in order to complete a manuscript or to develop an ARC application.
  • Preference will be given to those who have a book contract from a publisher or at least written evidence of interest from a publisher; or those who have a project proposal in an advanced stage and ready to be submitted as an ARC application.
  • Special consideration will be given to early career researchers (7 to 8 years since completion of PhD).
  • Staff on OSP or current ARC grants are not eligible.
  • Fellows will be based at HRC/RSHA for the duration of their fellowship. Time away cannot exceed two weeks during the entire fellowship.
  • Applicants need to submit their CVs and a two page proposal of the work they'll undertake during the semester.

Applicants need to have an endorsement from their supervisors. Supervisors Approval Form - pdf 66KB

Deadline for submissions: 28 February, 2011.
