PhD candidate awarded US fellowship

Brett Goodin, a PhD candidate in the School of History, has been awarded a fellowship by the Huntington Library in San Marino, California.

Later this year he will study manuscripts relating to the early American diplomatic service and deliver a paper on his PhD research to Huntington fellows and staff.

The world-renowned library complex includes an art gallery, extensive botanic gardens, and is a regular set for Hollywood films.

This is Brett's second US fellowship. He was previously awarded a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson’s historic home, Monticello.
