Join us for an intimate conversation with CASS alumna Jeanne Ryckmans (BA '89) followed by an audience Q&A.  
 
Jeanne, who is currently Artistic Director of the Canberra Writers Festival, has had an impressive and diverse career in publishing and media. She has spent two decades in Australian publishing, including as a literary agent with Cameron Creswell Agency and as a senior publisher at Random House and HarperCollins Australia. Her published authors include Sir Richard Branson, Gloria Steinem, and Leisel Jones. 
 
Prior to publishing, Jeanne worked for seven years as a presenter and producer for French and Australian television. She was also features editor at Elle magazine and books editor at Vogue. 
 
Jeanne is the author of two books: The Flying Nun: And the Women of the West, and The Two Acrobats
 
The Sydney-based Canberra native will be in conversation with Andrea Morris, Head of Advancement for CASS. They’ll discuss Jeanne’s career trajectory in the publishing industry, her fond times studying at the ANU, and how she overcame COVID-related challenges in managing the Canberra Writers Festival.
