CASS 2023 International Study Tours Information session

Are you a current undergraduate student at the Australian National University? Are you looking to further enrich your student experience through an immersive overseas study tour in 2023? Join us to hear from course convenors about the various international study tours that will be offered by the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS).

Overseas study tours and field trips are short-term courses that allow our students to study either a core course, elective unit or intensive course (2-6 weeks) abroad. They may include multiple stops at multiple destinations, or involve a more immersive experience at just one location.

CASS overseas study tours offer students a unique and hands-on learning experience in their areas of study by interacting with industry experts and developing an understanding of local culture by meeting new people.

CASS field trips and study tours are diverse and students will have the opportunity to learn overseas in Europe, Malaysia, New Zealand, Paris, Rome, Turkey, United Kingdom, Vietnam and more.

The CASS overseas study tours available in 2023 that are open to various disciplines include:

  • Constructing Asia: Governance, Institutions and Identity (Malaysia)
  • The Anzac Battlefields and Beyond: a study tour of Gallipoli, London, Paris and the Western Front
  • Global Paris: Culture, History and Identity in the French Capital
  • Global Rome: Culture and Identity in the Italian Capital
  • Global Vietnam: Gender, Labour and Migration

What you will learn about at the info session:
