art forum VISITING ARTIST: Jon Goulder

Internationally acclaimed designer Jon Goulder founded his studio in 1996 after graduating from the Canberra School of Art. Jon was the inaugural winner of the prestigious Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award, the winner of the Hobart Art Prize and People’s Choice Award, and has featured in a number of major exhibitions and publications around the world. Jon’s work is held in the permanent collections of many state and national museums and art galleries including the National Gallery of Australia. Jon’s designs have held market presence for over fifteen years and are represented in many national and international private and commercial collections. Widely acknowledged as having made long lasting contributions to the Australian design industry, Jon also works with individual designers and creative organisations. Jon is currently the Creative Director of Furniture at the Jam Factory in Adelaide, Australia.
