ANU/The Canberra Times meet the author event with Peter Garrett

Meet ANU Alumnus Peter Garrett AM - Fully Booked
The response to the exclusive CASS Alumni networking event
Meet ANU Alumnus Peter Garrett AM
at the ANU Classics Museum has been overwhelming, and unfortunately the event is now full.
However, tickets are still available for the ANU/The Canberra Times meet the author event with Peter Garrett at 6pm.
Meet the Author
Peter Garrett will talk about his latest book, Big Blue Sky, a provocative, entertaining, impassioned and inspiring memoir from the Midnight Oil frontman, environmental activist and politician.
From his idyllic childhood growing up in the northern suburbs of Sydney, to an early interest in equality and justice, this memoir traverses the height of 1960s culture shock at ANU to his time as the only unaligned Cabinet minister in two Labor governments.
Peter Garrett will be joined in conversation by ABC Canberra radio presenter Alex Sloan to discuss issues including his lifelong mission to protect the environment and his connection with Aboriginal people.
