In a living person, the skeleton is constantly adapting to the stresses and strains of everyday life. But what happens when this adaptation goes wrong, or when everyday life becomes ‘not so’ everyday? In this interactive workshop our ANU bone lab experts will teach you how to identify and interpret markers of stress, disease, and trauma in the human skeleton to gain amazing insights into the lives of the dead.
Additional information: This workshop will contain real human skeletal remains. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes.
