A month on, multiple indicators point to how the US/ Israel War on Iran represents not a regional confrontation but a global structural shock with serious military, economic and geopolitical implications.
Across the region but particularly in Iran and Lebanon, there has been:
- Immense damage to infrastructure
- A rising death toll
- Mass civilian displacement,
- Destruction of the environment & historical heritage
- Severe immediate global economic shocks
This 2nd roundtable - as part of CAIS’ highly popular Middle East Update series - will provide key insights about how the war is already reshaping assumptions about markets, power and the global order.
Join us to hear from this panel of experts on the Middle East, Russia, and Central Asia who will shed light on the impact of the US/Israel War on global economy, energy markets, regional players such as the Gulf States, Turkey, Russia and Central Asia.
