Bachelor of Arts - Changes to SPIR Majors

Updates and advice on changes to the Bachelor of Arts for students completing a major in the School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR).

Students commencing in the Bachelor of Arts are required to follow the program requirements for the year they commenced study.

Students continuing in the Bachelor of Arts are able to complete the program requirements that were in place the year they commenced, or they can apply to change to the new program requirements. 

This page contains information for continuing students in the Bachelor of Arts who are completing a major in Human Rights, International Relations, or Political Science. Information for students completing other majors will be released shortly.

School of Political Science and International Relations Information Session 

There have been changes to the majors and some courses offered through the Bachelor of Arts in 2025. Use the completion plan below to find course substitutions and plan your enrolment.
