I think it's important to just try and focus on the things we can control, and make the most of opportunities as they come.

A fond or happy memory of your time at ANU

One of my best memories at the ANU is the opportunity my Arts degree gave me to travel to the US in summer 2018/19 through the Australian National Internships Program and work at the Senate Commerce Committee. I was able to be a part of committee hearings, meet constituents and staff from across the US and spend time visiting sites in DC. Working and living in this new environment armed me with valuable skills for the future.

Post-graduation plans

Next year I'll be working as Tipstaff to Justice Pain in the NSW Land and Environment Court.

Words of support or hope to your fellow graduand cohort

COVID is changing everything. I think it's important to just try and focus on the things we can control, and make the most of opportunities as they come.
