Philosophy
Philosophy is the study of the fundamental nature of reality and the human experience. Philosophy forces us to ask questions about ourselves and our changing society and helps us to develop different ways of thinking about important issues. Its fundamental methods lie at the heart of many research inquiries within the arts and social sciences, making it a wonderful complement to many other ways of thinking.
The strengths of the School of Philosophy lie in five broad areas: philosophy of mind; philosophy of science; moral and political philosophy; epistemology; European philosophy and Asian philosophy.
