CASS' own to deliver last lecture

Dr Ben Wellings, Deputy Head of the School of Politics and International Relations has been nominated by ANU students to deliver the "Last Lecture" of the 2011 academic year.

Dr Wellings, convenor of the new Bachelor of European Studies, is much admired by ANU students and staff for his vitality and enthusiasm in student learning and research and his deep affinity with students makes him a very worthy recipient to deliver the "Last Lecture" for 2011.

The "Last Lecture" will take place in The Hall, University House on Thursday 3 November 2011. Doors open at 5pm and the lecture will commence at 5:30pm with refreshments following in the Common Room.
