ANU Spanish Program receives award for university teaching

We are pleased to announce the School of Language Studies Spanish Program received the Award for Programs that Enhance Learning in the 2012 Australian Awards for University Teaching, hosted and supported by the Office for Learning and Teaching.

Senator Chris Evans, Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Science and Reseach, congratulated Associate Professor Daniel Martin, Convener of the Spanish Program, and the efforts of the team's members, which include, Dr Manuel Delicado Cantero, Dr Martha Florez, Dr Elisabeth Mayer and Professor Catherine Travis.

"Together, you have made an innovative and outstanding contribution to the quality of student learning and the student experience of higher education. The programs honoured this year have set a bechmark for ongoing learning and teaching activities in Australian higher education institutions and the dedication and commitement of your team will continue to significantly impact student learning."
