Student support
Student Services
Tutors are not meant to be all things to all students. It is inevitable that you will have students come to you with issues that you think ….”this is not my responsibility,” or “I’m not equipped to help them.” The likelihood is that the ANU has a service area to provide support to the students.
Academic Skills and Learning Centre
The Centre offers ANU students, of all levels, free and confidential help with their academic work through individual tutorials, workshops, courses and handouts. The aim is to assist students to develop their academic, critical thinking and communication strategies. Open from 12 to 2 Monday to Friday, drop in appointments, no appointment necessary, consultation 15-20 minutes in duration.
