The ANU School of Art offers programs to suit students from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Most of the programs are comprised of a combination of theory and studio-based courses and it is possible to construct a program of study concentrated in one studio discipline area, or to work across a number of areas. Studio disciplines include: Ceramics, Furniture, Glass, Gold and Silversmithing, Painting, Photography and Media Arts, Printmedia and Drawing, Sculpture, and Textiles.
Graduate Coursework programs can incorporate individual studio practice projects, core theory, masterclasses, field studies, research projects and other courses from allied areas.
Programs vary in length from 6 months (Graduate Certificate) to 2 years (Masters) full-time and are arranged around semester based courses. Part-time study is available.
