Studies in gender, sexuality and culture will allow you to undertake interdisciplinary and innovative graduate research. ANU has strengths in feminist theory, anthropology and history, literary, critical and cultural studies, gender and development and international studies. More specific areas of expertise include trauma studies, feminist and cultural studies of medicine, health and embodiment, South East Asian cinema and popular culture and Asian modernities, law, literature and popular culture. You may also research feminist international relations, nationalism, maternity and sexuality, gender, migration and globalisation, gender, cinema and visual culture.
