Why make us your number one preference?

ANU ranked number 1 in Australia

We are Australia's national university with an international reputation for excellence. ANU is ranked number 1 in Australia and top 30 in the world for our international academic disciplines^.

Bachelor of Arts

We have a huge range of choice. From nearly 50 majors and over 80 minors in the Bachelor of Arts alone, to our large range of specialist undergraduate or postgraduate degrees, you will discover your passion.

ANU Flexible Double Degrees

You can create your own flexible program either through our Flexible Double Degrees. Or, start out in a single undergraduate degree and after 1.5 years of study, you can apply to transfer to a Flexible Vertical Double Degrees combining an undergraduate and postgraduate qualification.

Develop transferable skills

You will develop transferable skills that employers want, no matter what career path you decide to follow. Skills such as critical thinking, oral and written communication and research are just some of the ways ANU can prepare you for a multifaceted career.

Australian Parliament House (ANIP)

Our range of local and international internship opportunities through the Australia National Internships Program will help you get a foot in the door and make the most of the ‘Canberra advantage’. Being located in the national capital means you also have access to the nation's political, cultural and collecting institutions.

ANU CASS Student Exchange program

Head overseas to get your hands dirty through our study tours and field schools. Visit the great archaeological sites of Italy, Greece or Turkey, or hone your fieldwork research skills in biological anthropology by studying primates in Cambodia.

Connect with us

We will be in a city near you to answer all your questions about studying arts, humanities and social sciences. If you can’t make it, we’d love to chat to you during our online sessions.
