The Centre for Arab & Islamic Studies at ANU offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate coursework and research programs that enable you to undertake a comprehensive study of the Middle East and Central Asia.

Our programs include coursework subjects covering the politics, international relations, social and cultural dynamics of the Middle East and Central Asia as well as the politics and debates of modern Islam.

There is also the opportunity to study one of the languages of the region,  Arabic, Persian or Turkish.

You are invited to hear about our programs and discuss these opportunities with CAIS academic staff at our information evening.

Come along to learn more about our Middle Eastern language courses, our undergraduate and postgraduate studies specialising in the Middle East and Central Asia, and attend a demonstration of the online Arabic and Persian language courses.
