Terms Of Reference

  1. To advise the College Education Committee of the academic quality of undergraduate courses (including Honours) and the appropriateness of their contribution to the programs offered by the College.
  2. To advise the College Education Committee on proposals for new undergraduate programs.
  3. To advise the College Education Committee on revision or restructure of majors, and course revisions and deletions.
  4. To review undergraduate course offerings and Honours programs, with a view to ensuring that curriculum is informed by the highest quality research, teaching expertise and pedagogical innovation of staff across the College, and, where appropriate, elsewhere in the University.
  5. To ensure compliance of undergraduate courses offered by the College with university policies on education.
  6. To ensure consistency of education and teaching practices in undergraduate courses, particularly in assessment.
