The School of Cultural Inquiry

The School of Cultural Inquiry is the one of the largest and most varied Schools in the Research College of Humanities and the Arts and brings together a number of core disciplines of the Humanities: Art History, Classics and Ancient History, Drama, English, New Media Arts, Film, and Gender, Sexuality and Culture. Each of these disciplines interprets expressions of the human spirit and each, in its own way, reflects on what it means to be human.

The range of programs and courses we offer is extensive: on painting, sculpture, architecture, curatorship: on prose fiction, poetry, drama (including as performance), creative writing: on digital technology and web-based cultural production: on cinema and literature-into-film: on gender, identity and cultural politics, and much more.
