Our students aspire to new heights

June 2012

Kalina Slaska-Sapala is currently completing a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Classics/English in the ANU School of Cultural Inquiry and has recently been awarded a Clarendon Fund Scholarship to study at the University of Oxford. Kalina heads to Oxford in October to undertake a DPhil (PhD) in Classics at Corpus Christi College.

Clarendon Scholarships are highly competitive, with less than 7% of applicants selected for funding. A distinguishing feature of the scholarship is that candidates are nominated by leaders in their field. They are assessed on their academic record and ability to contribute significantly to their field of study, both in the present and future.
