Honours Information Seminar

An Honours year at ANU can provide you with the skills and preparation to bridge the gap between undergraduate and postgraduate research or to secure your dream job.

Working closely with your supervisor, you will complete an additional year of your degree, focusing on one of your majors. You will study further advanced coursework and write a thesis on a research topic of your choice.

CASS will hold an Honours Information Seminar on Wednesday, 18th October 2017 at 4pm in the Sir Roland Wilson Building (SRWB) in Conference Room 1.02, located on Level 1 (downstairs from the main entry level). The seminar will be followed by some refreshments in the SRWB Level 1 foyer.

This information session will be an opportunity to:

  • Ask questions about the application process;
  • Hear from past honours students about what the year involves;
  • Learn how honours is assessed, and;
  • Establish links with potential supervisors you have been considering to supervise your thesis.

Please bear in mind that the deadline to submit your application forms for this year’s honours intake is 31st October 2017.
