Australian Institute of Architects Walking Tour: Subtle Geometries, Decisive Futures

Strong architecture requires consideration of surface, structure, space, and above all spirit.

Join ANU Heritage Advisor/Creative Director of Canberra Modern on a free walking tour of numerous wonderful buildings within the ANU where you will:

+ see how modernist architects created form and order within a new city;
+ understand how individual buildings were shaped to balance requirements of the masterplan and that of the faculties;
+ see examples of pioneering and experimental ideas in built form; and
+ understand how the built environment can contribute to our cultural heritage.

Please meet at the front entrance of University House, ANU at 1:45pm.  Bookings essential.
