Our Manifesto

The Education Design Studio (EDS) is an operation founded on sustainable and collegial approaches to teaching and learning and promotes flexibility and rich learning environments that extend on traditional teaching-centred models. The Studio contributes to the development of teaching capabilities of staff by demonstrating and encouraging the uptake of simple, accessible technologies. It does this by proving concepts, collecting examples, providing reflective input, imagining alternatives and building a sharing community, as distinct from following a production-shop model.
