WebDAV Option A. You set up a WebDAV connection to Wattle and transfer files from your computer to Wattle.

WebDAV Option B. You set up a WebDAV connection to WebCT and a WebDAV connection to Wattle and transfer files from WebCT to Wattle.

Import 'from WebCT.' You import your old WebCT site directly into Wattle.

Wattle is the University's new Learning Management Service (LMS) which will be taking the place of WebCT.

The College of Arts and Social Science staff are committed to building collegiality and to nurturing the talents of staff and students.

Currently, the College has over 800 people as staff consisting of approximately 320 academic staff, 200 professional and administrative staff and over 300 sessional and casual staff.

There are four main ways for you to get your Wattle site up and running. How you choose to proceed will depend on

  • Your technical skills and experience in web-based environments
  • The size of your WebCT site, if you are using one
  • The amount of time you have to create your Wattle site

Below are the options available to you.

NB: DO NOT CREATE YOUR WATTLE COURSE SITE IN YOUR SANDPIT. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DUPLICATE IT IN THE LIVE WATTLE SPACE.
