Please note all students going on a ‘Semester 1’ exchange, should have steps 1-2 completed by 30 November in the year prior to departure, in order to receive an approval letter in time. Students going on exchange in ‘Semester 2’ should have Steps 1-2 completed by 30 April of the year of departure.
If an applicant would like to seek explanation in relation to a College decision to deny admission to a Higher Degree by Research program; he/she should contact the College Student Office staff in the first instance. If still unsatisfied, the applicant may request a review of the decision under sub rule 2.4 of the Research Awards Rules (No. 2) 2008 . The applicant must follow the appeal procedures {as required in sub rule 2.4 (3)} outlined below:

Students from ANU wishing to pursue studies cross-institutionally at another university because the relevant course is not available at ANU, should follow the procedure below:

Obtain details, including course descriptions, of the courses you wish to study.

Take these details to the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences Student Office and complete an application form.
