College Executive - Professor David Marsh

David Marsh was appointed the Director of the Research School of Social Sciences in 2008. Previously, he was Professor of Political Sociology at the University of Birmingham in the UK.

A graduate of the University of Swansea and the University of Exeter, Professor Marsh is one of the leading experts in the fields of Political Sociology and Comparative Public Policy.   He is the author or editor of 12 books, including: Theory and Methods in Political Science; Policy Networks in Comparative Perspective; Post-war British Politics in Perspective; and Young People and Politics in the UK. He has also published more than 90 articles and book chapters in many of the worlds leading Political Science journals.
